|About Our Publications
The Teamsters Communications Department is responsible for producing 16 divisional newsletters and the Teamster
Magazine. These official union publications are produced by our staff of Teamster writers who work closely with our local unions, Joint Councils, International Representatives, and Division Directors. Our writers track Teamster news to keep the general membership and our division constituencies informed and involved about the events that define our organization and shape our future.

Share Your Story
We rely on rank-and-file members, as well as the unions leadership, for story ideas about Teamster struggles and successes.
The Communications Department wants to hear about your organizing and contract victories. We also are interested in the contributions Teamster members and local unions are making in their communities.
To submit a story, simply write a short synopsis of your experiences. Be sure to include the FIVE Wswho, what, when, where and whywhen writing your synopsis. Then send the story to us at the address listed below.
Send Us Photos
We receive countless photos from members and locals.
Photography for print is a difficult task. Each photo should tell a story or denote some action that grabs a readers interest. Before taking photographs for our publication or your own, examine previous editions of the Teamster or even commercial magazines (People, Newsweek, etc.) to get an idea of how photography works in print. Also please view the following good pictures and bad pictures links to for examples.
