Welcome to the official web site of the Teamsters Building Material and Construction Trade Division (BM&CTD). As Director of the Division, it is my goal to remain an active advocate for members in our 368 Locals throughout North America.

BM&CTD members should consider this page your office on the web. As you can see, we have redone the web site to make it easier for you to get updates on information about your trade.

We are doing all we can to keep the lines of communications open, but this is a two-way street we travel together. We want to hear from you. I urge you to utilize all means to become a better and more informed Trade Union member. Through multi-trade organizing we will defeat the adverse affects of Union-busting organizations like temporary labor agencies and merit shop contractors. Whether you work in the Construction, Demolition, Redi-Mix, Moving & Storage, Pipeline, Solid Waste, Building Material production or distribution industries, we are here to advocate on your behalf to make your worksite safe, to expand our presence on job sites across North America and share in the success of the expanding construction economy.

If I or any member of my staff can assist you, do not hesitate to contact us.

Fraternally,
Richard Stern
Building Material and Construction Trade Division Director
